AMUSENS Engages the Public at Researchers’ Night 2026 in Athens

8 October, 2026

On 25 September 2026, the AMUSENS project participated in Researchers’ Night 2026 at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) through project partner ICCS, bringing cutting-edge health innovation closer to the public.

Researchers’ Night is a unique opportunity for citizens to meet scientists, discover groundbreaking research, and explore how innovation is shaping the future. During the event, Stefanos Chatzimichelakis introduced visitors to the AMUSENS project and its pioneering work in the field of breath analysis.

The AMUSENS booth attracted significant interest from visitors of all ages. Many were fascinated by the idea that a simple breath sample could reveal valuable information about human health. Engaging discussions highlighted both the scientific potential of breath analysis and the importance of research-driven innovation in addressing future healthcare challenges.

Participation in Researchers’ Night allowed the AMUSENS team to share its vision with a broader audience, promote public understanding of emerging sensing technologies, and encourage dialogue between researchers and society. Events such as these play a vital role in demonstrating how European research initiatives can contribute to improving quality of life and advancing medical diagnostics.
